There is quite a good article on things happy people do on the mind body green site. There has been plenty written out there on being happy and some folks talk about “just be happy.” I agree with this article that being happy is about taking actions to do so. Happy, the state of mind, does not just come to you, in my opinion. Being happy, much like many things in life, takes at least some effort. If you can do take some actions that lead you to be happy more often and turn them into habits, I think you are well on the way to being a generally happy person. Link below.
